Gentle Bulk Bin Unloading for Delicate Produce
The KW Soft Automatic Bulk Bin Tipper is designed for applications where minimising product drop, impact and product-on-product pressure is critical.
Unlike a conventional bin tipper where the bin is raised and the produce is discharged downward into a receiving hopper, the Soft Automatic Bin Tipper brings the receiving conveyor directly to the produce.
During the tipping cycle, the bulk bin is raised towards the overhead belt system before being rotated. The bin and belt then move together, maintaining a minimal distance between the produce and the receiving belt as the product is progressively released.
As the produce exits the bin, a slow-down brush helps regulate the discharge, allowing the product to transfer gradually onto the belt conveyor. This controlled unloading method minimises free-fall and helps prevent large volumes of produce from releasing and stacking on top of each other.
The machine is built around a stainless steel frame, providing the robust construction required for commercial produce processing environments.
