Minimal Drop Feeding for Delicate Produce
The KW Soft Tipping Belt Feeder is designed for applications where minimising product drop and product-on-product impact is a priority.
Unlike conventional feeding systems where produce is discharged into an accumulation hopper, the Soft Tipping Belt Feeder works in conjunction with the KW Soft Automatic Bulk Bin Tipper to transfer produce directly onto the belt.
This avoids a large volume of produce accumulating on top of itself and helps minimise drop heights during the initial unloading process.
Once on the feeder belt, a sensor-controlled system regulates the transfer of produce, providing a consistent supply to the downstream processing equipment.
